On weekends, there is a long queue of customers - almost none above the age of 35, and almost all yuppies because at $25-30 per pax, it ain’t cheap . The crêpes are decent, but besides crêpes and a few below-average-looking sandwiches, there’s nothing else. Service is enthusiastic, but it’s slow, and they don’t have basic things like toothpicks, Tabasco sauce or chilli. One quarter of the place is for retail - clearly a wasteful use of space as turnover cannot be high. Don’t take your Dad to Gather for Father’s Day; he’d rather go to Mother House restaurant also on North Bridge Rd.
