Thai boat noodles were originally served by hawkers in boats along Bangkok's canal. As the noodles were freshly prepared on the boats, the bowls were deliberately small to avoid spillage.

The boat noodles are usually served with a mixture of beef and pork, pickled beancurd and a strong savoury broth flavoured with spices and pigs blood.

Boat noodles is one of Warm Up Cafe's signature dishes. They serve it both in the mini and regular size. You can also choose the spicy levels. Their boat noodles do not contain pigs blood which is banned in Singapore.

Their soup broth is piquant and packs a nice kick. It was however rather salty. Both the pork and beef were also a little tough and chewy.

I am not a big fan of their boat noodles to be honest so perhaps you can try the mini version first before going for a full bowl.
