Swipe to reveal the flavours featured here. Originating from Thailand, these freshly baked pastry pies resembled the famous Wife's Biscuit (老婆饼) from Hong Kong, with the crisp, crumbly pastry layers encasing the sweet, paste-like fillings. However, the version here differs slightly with a thin and mere pastry crust that contains a generous amount of fillings. The fillings were also smooth, creamy and soft unlike the sticky kind in Wife's biscuit. Among all the flavours I've had, my personal favourite and ultimate bias is the Thai milk tea that was sweet yet bearing a fragrant Thai tea flavour with a lingering aroma. Following after is the matcha flavour, with a distinctive earthy flavour that could have been more intense and less milky. .
