As with all foodies, when you have to queue in line for a long time, you end up ordering more to justify the waiting time and that is exactly what we did with a bowl of Sheng Mian Soup ($3.50) and Mee Hoon Kuay Dry ($3.50). Between the two, if you are craving for a bowl of noodles with a homecooked taste, then the soup version will be the choice for you. However, if you are craving for something different, I will recommend the dry mee hoon kuay version as the freshly pulled noodles has an excellent chew texture and the shape of it is able to hold the black sauce and chilli better. The accompany ingredients like prawn are good but to me, the most important factor is the noodle, which the dry version tasted much better.
