From Wonderfull Nasi Lemak; a relatively new stall at Old Airport Food Centre that had recently switched its operating hours to serve the lunch crowd. Was actually rather impressed with the Nasi Lemak here — it lacks that whole commercial feel that is synonymous with the names often associated with the Chinese-variant of Nasi Lemak. Here, expect 4 different sets on the menu, with the flexibility of choosing omelette or sunny side up for egg and ikan bilis or vegetables — the Otah was an additional item I ordered at extra cost. It feels like a lot of attention has been placed into the different elements; chicken wing lightly battered while still served warm and crisp; very juicy inside, sunny side-up served with a runny egg yolk and crisp Ikan Bilis and the Otah was smooth and soft with adequate moisture. The sambal gives everything a moderately spicy level of heat balanced with a good amount of sweetness, but could probably do better without the limp and soft ikan bilis within that seemed to have lost its crispiness after being aired out for too long. Overall not a bad choice, and perhaps something I might consider eating again in the food centre (because it's just too difficult not to try the large variety of good food at this hawker centre!)
