Mother Dough has been on my list of bakeries to try for the longest time! Snagged a few and they proved delightful. The banana walnut bread ($4) was a hefty slice, moist and packed with chopped nuts! The cookie ($3) was a crowd favourite - crisp on the outside, chewy on the inside and chock full of melted chocolate with a sprinkle of sea salt. I’d head back just for this!! Lastly, the rye fudge brownie ($5.50) was perhaps my least favourite of the lot - it was on the dry side and crumbly, lacking the rich flavour I’d expect from a fudge brownie.
