Offering a lovely array of bites with sweeping views of the South China Sea and Marina Bay, The Westin Singapore Lobby Lounge's Seafood Afternoon Tea ($58++ per person) was quite the treat. Coming here predominately for their (half) Lobster Thermidor with chargrilled lemon, I literally inhaled the plump meat which was covered in the lightly-torched, buttery-rich sauce. Not too cheesy or cloying, the supposed wine-based cream sauce went swimmingly with the sweet, fresh-tasting crustacean. And together on the platter, the Lobster Mayonnaise Brioche Rolls were a hit as well. The diced onions added some sweetness and countered the heaviness of the mayo-covered chunks.
