Opening its 3rd outlet at Orchard area in January next year, @tigersugarsg has already accumulated a huge overseas fanbase since the opening of their first store in Taiwan just a year ago.

Featured is their most popular offering, with brown sugar syrup drizzled all around the cup like “tiger stripes” and a mix of gigantic chewy tapioca pearls (boba) & tinier pearls. With a layer of cream mousse atop, it’s recommended to give the drink 15 shakes to blend it perfectly 😂.

After having my first slurp of the drink, I was slightly disappointed as it didn’t have that wow-factor. However, I like how there was a strong hint of Gula Melaka flavour which I didn’t get from other brown sugar milk drinks. If I have to queue up for this again, I’ll probably pass.
