Words cannot describe my joy at finally finding a textbook canele. Most suck, and I've had almost all the famous ones alr.
This is perfection. Crispy exterior, slightly chewy flavourful interior. Enough said. They are the best, and by a mile, and the only correct one in our little island, at least from bakeries( I haven't tried the Michelin starred ones but I haven't seen any raves about them either and no one is going to pay 300bucks only for the canele i think)
