One of the things done very well here are the claypot rice dishes. We ordered the grilled unagi and corn versions last night ($59++ and $35++ respectively) and I found them equally good in their own way.
The unagi was not overly sweet of sauce and when served broken up and mixed with the steaming hot rice and sliced Japanese leeks, delivered soul-satisfyingly delicious results.
As Hokkaido corn is in season, the kernels in the corn claypot rice were insanely sweet. A must-have if you love corn.
Both would be perfect as one-dish meals for two to share. Unless you're ravenous. Then you might want to hog one to yourself.
