Enjoy sucking the tomalley from its head and savouring the tender flesh after peeling. Every part of the prawn is a treat. Only scare you not enough prawns to eat.
But don't worry, you can order more prawns or other ingredients to throw into that rich, oceanic, sweet, and umami prawn broth. Guaranteed, whatever you put inside the soup, each ingredient will absorb the prawn broth essence fantastically. We tried Crab Nuggets ($8.80), Fish Roe Fortune Bags ($10.80), Hokkaido Scallops ($10.80), Prawn Filling Dumplings ($6.80), Prawn Paste ($10.80), Snow Crab ($8.80), Toman Fish Slices ($6.80), Australian Beef Slices ($10.80), Shabu Pork ($8.80), and Smoked Duck ($8.80). Each turned out to be incredibly flavourful, soaking up the prawn broth to the extreme. The portions are generous for each dish. Running out of soup? No worries, they have a prawn broth refilling station, so go all out and drink till you drop. Want more taste? Head to the sauce and condiments station. It's free flow, and they even provide Nacho Cheese sauce. Definitely a win!
Can't manage a whole pot of stuff? Just get their Hokkien Mee ($8.80). Confirm plus chop, you will not be disappointed if you like wet-style Hokkien mee. The Hokkien mee is full of wok hei, comes with three fat and juicy prawns, an abundance of fatty pork, chewy sotong, crispy pork lard, and a raw egg for moonlight effect. The chilli provided is damn shiok, hot, and spicy enough to evoke your senses without making you sweat. The slurpy noodles are handled properly, leaving little trace of alkaline taste, and they really absorb the stock well.
