Back to Chun Yang Tea in less than a month and with our Burpple Beyond vouchers, we decided to try out the kumquat green tea today! This was a pretty great drink and we would rate this above the grapefruit green tea that we got the previous time, as the latter was a little too overpowering in it's sourness. 😰😰😰 As we would expect, the drink has the distinctive taste of kumquat, but it is not overwhelmingly sour and the initial taste is in fact slightly sweet. If you prefer, you can increase the sugar level such that the drink is even less sour. :)

We added on pearls to our drink and the serving was unexpectedly generous although the pearls were a little too soft for our liking. Use your Burpple Beyond vouchers for a great one-for-one promotions as otherwise, the prices might be a little steep at close to $7 a cup!
