I get excited when there is a new dim sum place, do you? 😉 I spotted a rather uncommon item - Baked Black Pepper Duck Buns ($5.50) from the newly opened Guan Dynasty (@guandynasty) at United Square (@unitedsquaremall). The baked bun has an airy and puffy crust on the outside and the filling just overflows beautifully when you break it apart. Sadly, I find the peppery taste too overwhelming and the cubes of duck meat just disappeared in the thick sauce. Seems like the new restaurant has little fine tuning to do... 😜
