Lunched in style at Lumo. All for their $38 3-course lunch set, I particularly enjoyed the Orzo pasta with Angus beef cheek, celtuce, garlic confit, and celeriac puree ($23/ ala carte). My first time having the small, flat, oval, grain-shaped pasta and I am in love. With a pleasant gentle chew, the delicate and smooth pasta managed to soak up the all-great savoury, garlicky flavours. So comforting and surprisingly hearty. The beef bits were also fork-tender and not gamey. What’s more, the super nutty, celery-like flavour of the celeriac puree was very complementary.
