Couldn’t resist ordering one more bowl of black sesame soya bean milk before we head off to Jiufen.
Fresh from the oven, they told us we must try these soya bean buns made from their traditional recipes.
We also tried some sesame pastries, sweet black sesame and savoury radish stuffings.
My own special order of egg pancakes.
I’m so crazy about this savoury soya bean milk at Miss Qin that we got out of bed at 6 to get some.
You can also order turmeric soya milk and black sesame soya milk.
The salty soya milk was what won my heart this morning.

This was only part of our orders.
Lots of action and clearly everyone knows their task at hand.
The rain didn’t deter us from hunting this place down for a local breakfast.
