This is the most I've ever spent on a single bun, but this bread was too much to resist. I mean, just look at it, it does not hold back with all the garlicky goodness piled on top 😱 plus, it's pretty huge, so I decided to splurge a little.

Instead of having just cream cheese inside, this bun also has mashed potatoes, which I found quite interesting. The mashed potatoes kinda tasted like the Maggi 5 minute mashed potatoes (which I absolutely love btw, so this isn't a bad thing), having that fried garlic taste integrated into it. Also, it tasted like mushroom soup to me? Maybe it's just me but I could definitely taste some mushroom soup.

Unfortunately, I didn't find this bun to live up to my high expectations :( maybe I like sweeter garlic cheese breads but somehow I wasn't really super wowed by this. Could be due to the fact that I didn't eat it fresh and reheated it in the oven after putting it in the fridge (which is how I typically eat my breads) so I can't judge it fully but I didn't find it to be worth my $6.90. Maybe if you like more savoury garlic cream cheese buns, you'll like this. For me though, it's too expensive and didn't impress me as much as I expected it to.
