As part of their Christmas special, KFC rolled out the Cheese Tarts (S$2 per piece) together with some other items. The lava cheese has a sweet milky taste and I like the tart shell for being very crispy like a cookie.

Sad to say, among the 4 that I bought, only 2 of them managed to retain the lava fillings, whereas the other two dried up. How to tell? If the shell is cracked or if the filling appears wrinkled and collapsed, maybe you can try to ask for an exchange on the spot?
