I’m not usually a fan of matcha but I really did enjoy this one! The matcha flavour wasn’t too intense, prominent but more on the lighter side, with the thin layer of azuki beans coming through with a subtle nutty taste.

I prefer this matcha to the plain one, the bitter undertones and the red beans bring more depth to it. But, like the plain one, the crepe layers themselves are not the thinnest nor do they have the smoothest texture, but for a packaged crepe cake I really can’t complain!
