This infamous NTU-grown humble western food has been around for quite long, from canteen 4 to canteen 1 with timely menu revamps. It was my first time trying their chicken katsu but it was disappointing with a lack of seasoning although the chicken was fried till crispy goodness.

Sambal spaghetti (used to be penne 😫) today was disappointing because the highlight was about the sauce! The sauce was a little over gooey and insufficient which was unusual. But this is a must-order every time I'm here.

Garlic fried rice is something new on the menu, so we decided to give it a try. Thought it could be more flavourful though. Seemed like something was lacking, but the garlic flavour wasn't overpowering and was just right.

We had the following add-ons:
- battered fish ($1.20)
- mushrooms
- onsen egg
(Mushrooms & eggs were complementary because we waited for 25mins for our order as we came too early 😶)
