Wasn't sure I heard it right since the more expensive Hokkaido don was available, but maybe it used a better type of salmon?
Anyway although the soba was supposed to be in a special sesame sauce, I could only taste a very strong shoyu. I don't say it often, but this was too salty even for me! Portion was not very filling too.
We were also quite surprised by the measly vegetables on the yasai kakiage too! It was mostly fried batter with a strong taste of stale oil 😖
It was not my first, but it should be my last time at this outlet (and maybe this restaurant). The only good thing was we had a 15% off for ordering between 12-1pm ( thanks to J Passport) and it helped off set the GST and service tax. This marked the start of a string of bad lunches for the week 😵
