The Gogi is a no-frills Korean restaurant located at this new mall across Ikea Alexandra.

You will probably smell the sweet enticing aroma of barbecued meats before spotting the shop front itself in a corner of this sleepy and somewhat desserted mall.

For $15, you get a generous portion of meats and the usual unlimited serving of banchans. Whereas some Korean restaurants try to lower their cost price by serving cheaper and tougher cuts of beef, Gogi's bulgogi beef was really soft and tender. The marinade was a tad salty for my liking though.

The food is good and decently priced. I will definitely be back to try their stews which look good!
