Experienced really good service, providing me with a complimentary refill of ice cold water upon request.

Unagi Don ($14.90)
Rice was drizzled with sweet japanese soya sauce. Came with cold tamago, a slab of unagi with sweet teriyaki glaze, tobiko and a sprinkling of seaweed.
The cold tamago provided a nice slightly saltish contrast to the sweet rice and even sweeter teriyaki-glazed unagi but overall the dish was too sweet as tamago by itself is subtly sweet. The addition of the tobiko helped to provide additional crunch to the dish but did little to elevate the dish flavour-wise.
Overall: 5.5/10 (Should order something else)

Butter Kaya Toast ($2.20)
Butter was thick slightly saltish creamy and cold, but was only present on 1 half of my bread.
Kaya was sweet and fragrant but would have preferred it to be thicker
Bread had a slight char and was nicely toasted on some edges but definitely could have been toasted more.
