Tonito had a slight change in their menu and we were a little disappointed that the Arroz Con Pollo is no longer on the menu, as it was one of our favourite dishes! Instead, we ordered something interesting, basically it's a coriander-flavoured risotto served with a generous piece of duck leg.

While coriander might be yucky for some of us, the only thing that resembles coriander is the green colouration of the rice grains! The risotto base does not taste anything like coriander at all, which I guess might be a blessing in disguise for some of us, although we suspect that the restaurant might also be trying to cater to local taste buds! ๐Ÿ˜…

The duck leg was great, however, as it had far more meat than bones and most of the meat was fairly tender and juicy as well! The duck meat was also baked in an oven, which made the exterior pretty crispy and it was a nice contrast from the soft meat within.

The dish is priced at around $28++, which is slightly pricey although we enjoyed a one-for-one promotion using The Entertainer. Do note that if you are visiting Tonito between Monday and Thursday, you can use the same promotion on Burpple Beyond as well!

Tonito was fairly empty when we visited on a Friday afternoon, although it was packed to the brim when we walked past the restaurant on the same evening! Highly encouraged to make a reservation nonetheless so that you won't have to queue. ๐Ÿ˜
