Ample flavour, and the reasonably tender, slightly bouncy chewy and sticky texture is good. No crisp but it's forgiven, this kind of premium pork jowl really does taste different from most. It's not too heavy, and it was reasonably clean tasting despite the lack of obvious marination

However, the price is really sth. I would probably think twice before I recommend it.

I don't like the sandy chili on its own but it does work decently well w the pork jowl
