The Tai Seng area is fast becoming a cafe-hopping haven as a row of cafes has slowly sprung up in recent months, with the latest addition being Supermilk. Supermilk is an artisanal ice cream cafe that prides itself as selling healthy ice cream made with natural ingredients daily. This definitely calls for a visit as the recent afternoon weather has been kinda overbearing. Hence, during lunch yesterday, I paid them a visit and had a scoop of one of their best selling flavours, Milk Tea Ice Cream ($4.50). The ice cream is made using a Thai milk tea base and it has a mild Thai tea flavour that it's not too overpowering. Texture-wise, it's not as smooth as the usual ice cream and this is more towards the grainy, icy feel. I have read that they have several staple items in their menu but was not seen when I was there. However, I do hope that they continue to sell predominantly ice cream and more flavours could be introduced in the near future instead of shifting their focus to other food items.
