Will you pay S$3.00 for a decent bowl of Ban Mian? I will! And this was exactly what happened when I came by to get some soupy dinner from a stall I frequently patronise from Uber Eats.

The signboard of this stall says “Fish Soup”, but it was listed as “KIN Handmade Noodles, Fish Soup & Pig’s Organ Soup” under Uber Eats. And despite selling their Ban Mian at below average market price, the owner did not compromise the flavours of the broth, nor the completeness of the essential ingredients, including minced meat, vegetables, anchovies and an egg. It was indeed substantial as my dinner, and a hidden gem amidst a trending cafe and a mookata stall in the same vicinity.

The handmade noodles were a little hard today, but it did not bother me so much because I like my noodles al dente.
