To step into @alatisg is to step out of Singapore and into a Greek taverna that specializes in sustainable seafood caught off the Mediterranean coast. You’ll also find Greek classics such as Taramasalata, Moussaka, Greek Salad and Phyllo-Wrapped Feta on the menu.😍

Here’s what we savour that night…😊
👉Grilled Fagri (Greekred porgy) - SGD14/100g
👉Grilled Octopus - SGD39
with fava (split bean) purée, confit tomatoes, homemade squid ink rice crackers & samphire leaves
👉Baklava - SGD21
homemade baklava with thin layers of phyllo pastry, pistachio & walnuts, topped with citrus syrup

There’s no doubt that the grilled fish was fresh, flaky, succulent and well-executed. But at a hefty price tag of SGD140 for 1kg, it’s definitely not mind-blowing enough for us to indulge in this again.😅

A must-order is their Grilled Octopus, which was surprisingly tender yet still retaining a firm bite.😬

For those without a sweet tooth, you might want to give their desserts a miss! Btw, it’s my 2nd time having baklava and I kinda prefer the one from @habibisweetsavoury instead.

❗️You may ask for tap water if you aren’t interested in their still/sparkling Nordaq Premium Water
