Ribs and sandwiches as fast food? We gotcha.
At Ticklish Ribs, you have a party of porky-ness where cut out ribs are served creatively in a bucket and a subway sandwich made fresh at the counter with your choice of porky meat.
Their signature BBQ Ribs comes in full rack (6 ribs) and half rack (3 ribs) at RM 38 and RM 20 respectively. Half rack is really not enough and very little. Not quite sure if they gave a full rack because my full rack of ribs order seemed very little! Available in spicy and not. However, their "spicy" is not spicy at all. No heat. With this impression I doubt their "not really" or non spicy will be flavorful. However, ribs are undeniably tender, easy to eat and dirty your fingers with the rib sticks!
Ticklish Ribs pork sandwich is pure pork meat and bread subs. 7 choices of mean from the scale of fatty ribs and pork leg to lean loins. Their choices are extensive I suggest taking your time checking out their menu @ticklishribs! Recommended from the staff are "pull your leg" and "you braised me up"; punny I know 😝 I had "pull your leg", which is basically pulled pork in BBQ sauce, in charcoal bread with an add on of caramelized onions. There's three types of bread offered namely wholemeal, white, and charcoal. Their charcoal bread tasted really weird to be honest. I won't recommend it but advice to choose wholemeal or white bread for their sandwich. Prices vary depending on your meat of choice. A bummer how it's just pure meat and bread, without any lettuce or tomatoes. Caramelized onions was incredibly salty too!
Something I disliked is their food are ALL very salty! Even my friend who has higher "sodium tolerance" thinks it's very salty. Especially the pulled pork. Ticklish Ribs gotta tone down their salt or people are gonna get stones.
Free flow of soda and a choice of fries/garlic bites in their set menu. OMG their fries were covered in too much salt too! 😓 Food: 6/10 Price: 7/10 (RM 38 full rack ribs; RM 16 pulled pork sandwich - prices are quite reasonable but the ribs at Naughty Nuri's is much cheaper and more in portion of a "full rack"
