As you drive into the car park you will alr think that you're in our neighboring country. When you see this "restaurant" at the end of the shop houses, that will seal your thoughts even more. A little rustic looking place, with tentage set up over the outdoor eating area and old school table cloth (as evident in the photo). We ordered a Heng Hua bee hoon, kai lan w beancurd skin, fried yam and lychee pork. The bee hoon isn't as flavorful as the popular heng hua restaurant, Pu Tien. But at $5 a portion, it's not too bad.(though you can find the clam shells but not the clams) The kai lan with bean curd skin was pretty good, stir fried with lots of garlic. The yam had a nice crunchy batter and coated with a sweet and slightly spicy sauce. I would say this is a pretty good place to visit for a rustic, different kind of experience kind of dining at cheap prices.

I love this spot for how underrated it is as opposed to other places. The ulu-ness and its price point really makes it so different!

ni eats haha thought it would be good to recommend them because they really deserve to be discovered!
