Tiong Bahru market is no stranger to any Singaporeans. It's where you can famous Chwee kueh, prawn noodles and Lor Mee under one roof.

The Lor Mee gravy was not too starchy nor salty and the thick noodle texture were just nice. Add a bit of vinegar and garlic to enhance the flavour of the Lor ( dark sauce ). I ordered the $4 version, where it comes with shark meat instead the normal Ngoh Hiang and pork slices. The shark meat, may has a crispy exterior, but there was no difference in term of texture and taste between normal fish meats. I would rather have my Ngoh Hiang and pork slices!

Overall, it was a decent Lor Mee and it could be my comfort food any day.
