When we were wondering whether to buy half or one whole chicken, the uncle persuaded us to buy it whole. Better value! Also, he is very proud of the fact that he had never increased the price all these years even before CNY where all other stalls will be selling a whole chicken for $20! He says his profit margin is only $2+ per chicken! 😯
Well, this is definitely good. Tender and flavourful enough with the broth that we didn’t use the additional sauce it came with. Like the sour chilli sauce too! Only grouse would be we prefer the chicken to be cut in bigger pieces, and though we heard Uncle relaying our request not to cut up the drumstick, it was missed out 🍗
Still, we would definitely be buying this again 👍🏼
