The gigantic block of peanut candy was brought all the way from Taiwan and hand-shaved using a wooden shaving block (imported from Taiwan as well). The crunchy fragrant peanut shavings was indeed the star of the dish, enclosed by the thin popiah skin and 3 scoops of ice cream (with a choice of yam or coconut flavour). My favourite out of the two was the yam ice cream, simply because I love yam too much 😛 But, the surprise actually came from the addition of coriander, which complemented the sweet-savoury flavour well (rest assured the coriander's flavour was not overwhelming at all!). This will only be available till the end of May, so be sure to catch them before they're gone.
