A stone's throw away from Bugis Street lies a hidden gem with delightful Chinese treats. Jing Hua is located right next to the famous sister branch of Keisuke Ramen (Bugis). My second time here after many years and I'm glad the food quality has maintained (even though I think the prices have gone up). The Guo Ties here are the star attraction- a crispy thick but light skin wraps around a generous filling of chives and minced pork, these fun-sized dumplings break apart to release all a good amount of porky essence (think XLB soup within the dumpling). 10 bite-sized dumplings for $8 isn't exactly cheap, but definitely worth a visit once in a while.
