I used to come here for dinner daily with my good friends after work and today, I had a craving for their Chiu Chow Cheng fish. I was so afraid that after so many years, the chefs may have changed and it may not be the same as how I’ve remembered it. You have no idea how happy I was after a first sip of the soupy sauce. It’s still the same, slightly salty, full of umami from the stock they use which has a bit of Chinese wine. We polished the whole fish and all the sauce off.
