Eclair de Ishimori Ryozo Shoten エクレール (Ueda)

A charming éclair shop nestled in a hidden courtyard, open only on Fridays and Saturdays. It was worth the effort to check their website for operation details. The atmosphere was pleasant and peaceful, making it the perfect spot to take a break from the bustling city.

As I stepped inside, I couldn't help but marvel at the array of éclairs displayed before me. It was a true feast for the eyes. One of my favorite phases, "I want one of each," never fails to leave the shop owner stunned by my dessert-loving enthusiasm. They are often taken aback by my eagerness to try all the delicious stuff they offer. It's amusing to see their surprised reactions as I express my love for desserts. Who knew that a simple phrase could make such an impression?

The éclair menu seems to changed weekly, adding an element of excitement to each visit.

Indulging in the classic éclair was a treat for the senses. The mellow sweetness of the smooth fresh cream paired perfectly with the delicate pastry shell. It was a delightful combination.

Tiramisu (¥550) 😍
The tiramisu éclair infused the rich flavours of coffee into a creamy, less bitter delight. Each bite was a symphony of coffee-infused goodness, leaving a lingering and satisfying taste.

Matcha (¥450) 😋
The matcha éclair showcased the vibrant and earthy notes of matcha without overpowering the palate. Encased in a spongey puff, it was a matcha lover's dream.

Cherry Cheesecake (¥600) ☺️

A refreshingly sweet and chilled beverage that complemented the éclairs beautifully.

Overall, the éclairs were truly awesome. Each one was a masterpiece of flavour and craftsmanship.
