Royal Tea Latte: Taste of Sri Lanka taste was subtle. Recommended for hose who do not prefer a strong tea taste
Pleasant ambience with good decor. Tea available for sampling and purchase. Would visit again!
Ordered the yuzu chiffon and the strawberry chiffon. The yuzu one has a tangy cream in the middle which was quite refreshing while the strawberry one was sweet.
Also ordered the oolong and earl grey latte. The oolong was not too bad but is slightly sweet. The earl grey had a strong aftertaste.
got the matcha latte and the earl grey latte, along with the matcha and yuzu chiffon!
super worth it and value for money 🤤 earl grey latte was fragrant while matcha latte was super flavourful. chiffon cakes came with a little pipette of syrup that can be drizzled on top of it, was light and fluffy but didn’t stinge in flavour. 10/10 would come back again!
The texture of this yuzu cake is very fluffy and soft! And I was blown away by the taste of it.

My favourites have to be their specialty tea puffs which come in 7 different flavours - Earl Grey, Rose, Matcha, Hojicha, Milk Tea, Passionfruit & Vanilla. Be prepared for an explosion of rich tea infused cream the moment you bite in. Not forgetting, special mention to the fluffy Yuzu Chiffon Cake that left me craving for more!

Of all the cakes I’ve tried, my favourite has got to be the Yuzu Chiffon Cake. It was fragrant, zesty, and overall, more dense than the other cakes. Comparably, the strawberry one had a milder taste and has a lighter flavour compared to the Yuzu.
If you’ve had Dulcet & Studio’s Scoop Cake before, then you know how good they are in whipping up fluffy Japanese cakes. As expected, these were pillowy and light with just the right level of sweetness. Out of the four flavours available – yuzu, matcha, strawberry and earl grey – I liked yuzu most.

A brew-tea-ful day to thrill your palate with The 1872 Clipper Tea Co.’s tea-infused pastries and desserts, the newly added chiffon cakes ($6.80/each) are not to be missed. Made by Dulcet & Studio, the assorted fruity tea-infused flavours were spot on with the exclusive Earl Grey Chiffon Cake and Yuzu Chiffon Cake being two of my favourites.
Denser of the lot, the unassuming Yuzu Chiffon was vibrant, zesty and citrusy. Love the bits of yuzu and the light airy cream. Fragrant and not too sweet, it didn’t have the familiar tartness or the distinct pungency that the fruit normally hold but it was overall really pleasant in flavour and texture. And for the Earl Grey Chiffon, there was a pronounced yet delicate hit of bergamot. Much fluffier in comparison, the cake was paired with a slightly heavier choice of cream cheese and a surprise layer of orange marmalade. The tangy jam hidden in the center was a very nice touch as it balanced the cream cheese and gave the light sponge a boost in sweetness.
Thus, the next time you’re up for some afternoon tea, get a couple of these pastries at their tea bar to share and rest your feet at their dine-in section with one of the signature brews in hand! And do all that with Bupple Beyond 1-for-1 deals~

The yuzu chiffon cake was a dense sponge cake w zesty, citrusy flavors! Personally I liked that the sponge was denser as compared to the strawberry cake as it had a nicer bite & texture to it. The yuzu flavors were strong & fragrant but not too overpowering. The strawberry chiffon cake was airy & light. Great for an after-lunch treat! The flavors was much milder & abit lacking. Would be great if it had more bursting flavors of strawberries! 🍓
