If you've ever wondered what the lunchtime crowds at this stall are queing for, this is it โ Farasha's Nasi Goreng Ayam ($5.50). The big and meaty fried chicken drumstick sports what Tastemaker Jason Wong describes to be "crackling crispy skin", and is served atop a pillow of fragrant fried rice. If you're not too worried about breaking a sweat, ladle on the fiery sambal pedas chilli on the side โ spicy but so addictive. This is hearty eating at its finest, and well worth the queue. Alternatively, take Tastemaker Jason's cue and swing by for dinner, when the waiting time is a lot more manageable.
Avg Price: $5 per person

Don't be too sad if you couldn't enjoy Farasha as the weekday lunch crowd is crazy and people really queue for this big meaty chicken drumstick with crackling crispy skin and that fragrant spiced fried rice. ๐ A shorter queue compared to lunchtime on a weekday, I was so glad that they were still selling this for dinner!
Not bad, has the crispy bits. The one in boon tat st still remains my number one. #burpple #sgfoodie #sgfood #foodsg #sgfoodies #seahimfoodcentre
Freshly wok-fired fried rice topped with a large fried chicken and addictive crunchy battered flour bits. The extra spicy sambal pedas will leave your mouth burning, yet craving for more.
