If you like Sarawak Laksa and Kolo Mee, this is definitely one destination you should put down on your must eat list.. I believe Aunty Christina used to operate out of a hawker stall in one of the kopitiam in Bangsar but she has her own shop now in Paramount.. Kolo Mee start from RM7 and the Special Sarawak Laksa RM12
Sarawak laksa, Sarawak kolo mee, Sarawak tomato kuey teow. You're able to get everything under the same roof.
Totally in love with their Sarawak laksa, very flavourful and so different from Sarawak laksa that I tried elsewhere.
As for kolo mee I do wish they have the red sauce that will be able to elevate the flavor to another level.
Nevertheless it's a very enjoyable visit to be able to had the Sarawak Noodle craving fix.
Generous amount of bean sprouts and shredded chicken.. and laksa soup was alright... served with 2 regular size prawns.. price was 9.50 per bowl. My verdict.. so so..
The formerly Bangsar-famous Aunty Christina has upgraded to her own flagship this year, now selling her sublime Sarawak Laksa in Seapark. Despite the move, crowds have not diminished but take heart that the standalone joint is better equipped to serve many more laksa lovers. At RM9 a bowl, we won't count this as cheap hawker fare. It is rather, an expertly executed Sarawakian delicacy, plated with quality ingredients and sheer finesse. Every bowl comes out of the kitchen looking identical, beautifully topped with deshelled prawns, sliced chicken, omelette and coriander garnish. Because the focus of the dish is in its strong, spice-laced broth, the portion of bee hoon is kept modest so as to prevent it from soaking up all that soupy goodness. If more is better in your books, upsize your bowl for an additional RM1.
Avg price per person: RM10

The Sarawak laksa is a variation of laksa served in Borneo, Malaysia. Consisting of a soup made from prawn and sambal belacan, giving it a bright red hue with specks of chilli. The broth uses tamarind and coconut milk, and must be consumed with rice vermicelli, prawns, fish cakes and shredded omelette.

The broth had heavy flavour, pungent with the sambal belacan from the soup stock. The dish was served with 3 large prawns, a generous helping of vermicelli noodles, beansprouts, shredded omelette and fish cakes. The prawns were very fresh and succulent, a rare find today for street food that won't break the bank. One of the better ones in Kuala Lumpur.
