I have featured Peteās Place tiramisu as the best tiramisu ( in my opinion ) but for days when tiramisu isnāt my cup of tea , I am Glad that the plethora of desserts available at Peteās placeās lunch buffet / weekend brunch always has something for me.
Peteās Place has such high quality homemade desserts - I simply wouldnāt go anywhere else - I am pretty much trapped š„°
I have tried the desserts from all across the dessert section of hotel buffets and sad to say, other than the rise at MBS and Peteās Place - most donāt meet the passing mark.
Featuring here is the the passionfruit bombalini - itās like a tender doughnut filled with real passionfruit purĆ©e mixed into a light cream . The flavours just explode with every bite .
Much commendable is also the apricot crostata with a tart apricot topping balanced off with a crisp and buttery base - so sinful but so good .
The profiteroles were also outstanding . Drenched with a high quality chocolate and then filled with custard cream .
Every piece of dessert is just so lovingly made -

Italian lunch buffet
What better way to relax and spend time with family than to have a slow lunch at Peteās Place ?
Probably the most value for money Italian lunch buffet with a whole array of high quality homemade breads , soups , salad bar , choice cuts of fish and meats , pastas and pizzas .
As if that was not enough - the variety of desserts served is good enough for a dessert buffet š.
I like how Peteās Place desserts are all home made - you get a rotation of ricotta cheese tart, tiramisu , flourless chocolate cake , Apple pie , Apple crumble , polenta cake , rhubarb crumble , cherry tart , creme brĆ»lĆ©e , fresh cut fruits etc - no less than 4 varieties are served at each lunch buffet .
The best tiramisu for me comes from Peteās Place and the good news is that if you are dining in for the lunch buffet - you get to eat as much as you want .
Moist with a strong espresso and alcohol accent and adorned with dark chocolate nibs - this is a must have .
One serving is never enough .
Lovely homemade tiramisu as part of Peteās Place lunch buffet . I dare say they make one of the best tiramisus .
I love how homemade their desserts are and best part is that that they have a wide variation of desserts ranging from flourless chocolate cake , Apple crumble pie , apricot tart, cheese tart .

The dessert station alone was good enough
Think homemade tiramisu , flourless chocolate cake, vegan chocolate pudding , fresh strawberries š, high quality ice cream and sorbet , lemon cream doughnuts , strawberry cheesecake, dark chocolate shortbread , dark chocolate covertures. . . . Itās a dessert galore .
The star of the show at Peteās lunch buffet is really the house made tiramisu. You simply cannot leave the restaurant without have a slice or 2 of this tiramisu no matter how full you have stuffed yourself earlier with the lunch buffet.
This is the place where I had my first taste of tiramisu and it was love at first sight.
The deep coffee āļø and liqueur flavour just permeates throughout the sponge fingers which have been soaked till soft . The mascarpone is so light and airy and balances out the sweetness.
A generous sprinkle of cocoa nibs and chocolate shavings just adds a sheer decadence.

I love these little rhubarb crumbles under the plant based dessert selection as part of the lunch buffet .
Quite rarely do we see desserts made with rhubarb so this was a must have for me even though I had earlier wolfed down 3X cheese cakes , 2X tiramisu , 2X profiteroles, 1X Apple crumble .
Slightly sourish and tart , this went very well with the sweetened crumble made of flour , nuts and oats .
Very lovely way to end the meal .

Hands down - The best tiramisu for me
One of the most delicious renditions I've had in a long time. The tiramisu is moist without being overly so, and boasts just the right balance of punchy espresso notes. The portion is good to share among four, especially after a carb-heavy pizza meal.
