Eggs and potato are one of my favourite things to eat in Barcelona so I was dead set on ordering this upon seeing it in the menu. Soft, slightly greasy and golden brown, a base of thinly-layered fried potato batons are topped with chunky scrambled eggs and minced chorizo. The potato component was perfect but I wish the eggs could have been slightly runnier, and an oilier, saltier chorizo used, so that the potatoes could have something tasty to soak up. Minor quibbles aside, it was still a very enjoyable dish which I would order again.
Thanks @burpple for the invite and @foc_sentosa for hosting!

One of my favourite items that was served that night was the roughly scrambled eggs served with chorizo on a bed of fried potato stripes ($10)

I liked the different textures of the sausage, egg and potato and how the flavors combined to a rustic comforting dish.
Spanish food might not be the most common here, but a reliable place I always hear suggested to get a good meal of it is FOC! 🔥
One of the starters we got was this. A dish of rough, scrambled eggs, chorizo and potatoes – seemingly simple enough but dam did I love the way those potatoes were done! It was awesomely crisp (might have been layered and fried?) but still had a depth of bite to it, perfect with the saucy combi of egg and sausage. This is the kinda thing I want to wake up to after a hangover. 😂
