I know, i'm super late to the game but better late than never! I finally decided to try out coco steamboat and their famous pork bone soup. Everything on the table summed up to RM107. I wouldn't consider this as a cheap option if you're looking to dine with a budget, but then again, most steamboat places are priced around the same. The broth was super flavourful and to my suprise, not much MSG was added as i didn't feel the need to jug and entire jug of water like I would normally need to. I would skip out on ordering the lamb as it wasn't fresh in my opinion. If you're late to the game like I was, I would suggest you to visit this place when the steamboat crave hits.
For rainy day group dinners in Old Klang Road, Coco Steamboat comes to mind. The restaurant is set in a super spacious warehouse, while an efficient queue system makes the guaranteed wait here bearable. When seated, it's essential you start off with an order of Coco Double Stewed Soup with Whole Bone (RM22.2). Packed with collagen and meaty goodness, this rich broth is what draws the crowds. Go for simpler sides to satisfy, such as the Set Menu (RM39.80 for two) that comes with the usual steamboat suspects like prawns, dumplings and meatballs. Apart from the basics, treat yourself to additional orders for sharing! The Crispy Fish Skin (RM16.90) is a luxurious pop of crunch while the Sliced Pork (RM13.70) will emerge from the broth curled up in thin, tender slices that are absolutely tantalising. While waiting on the bubbling broth to cook up a feast, order the scrumptious Crisp-Fried Pork Belly With Shrimp Paste (RM15) to tide you over. Wash dinner down with a sharing jug of cooling Sugarcane, Couch Grass Root & Carrot herbal drink (RM9.50).
Avg price per person: RM30

This is really a thick stew of pork bone. The soup base itself is already good enough to just drink it on itself. A must try in the restaurant. Plus the ingredient to go with the soup are all fresh. This shop is worth a try and return visit. Pricing around RM30 per pax.
