Basically the lotus paste version of red bean pancake - and very similar. It's toasted till very crispy and almost chao tar. It's not bad, but also not good. Don't expect all lotus paste - there's a significant layer of nian gao.

Besides the incredible savouries, Jing Hua Restaurant serves some pretty darn good desserts as well such as the Crispy Red Bean Pancake ($10), which is only made to order. Crispy and hot on the outside, mochi-like in the middle and sweet on the inside with the red bean filling. You will leave the restaurant with a happy tummy and even a greater desire to return in the near future.
