crunchy outside with chewy inside. yet, it is not too chewy, easy to bite off. very flavourful condiments added to enhanced the taste. Enjoyed it as a snack often. tried different outlet and it does not taste as nice
HUGE HUGE HUGE!! But this is so good! Crispy batter, chewy squid. It's great for sharing, and helps to split the $7 bill too. We had the seaweed flavour one which reminds us of McDonald's seaweed shaker fries lol.
Since we stay around Bencoolen area at the first day I decide to take a night strool to Bugis+. Then when the snacking urge come, our choice come to a delectably displayed crispy deep fried squid on a stick called Uyi Savory Squid. I love how crispy yet succulent those squid are, I remember the last time I try to cook squid to long and it become rubbery. But this squid are just perfectly cooked and crispy. We choose the hot & spicy flavor for our squid, with extra green tea for our drink it cost us only $7.50 it is sooo good, so for me this is a good bargain 😅
I love to eat this in taiwan and jb. We ate it ytd at #expo #worldfoodfair2015 and learnt that they have shop in bugis so today had to just eat it again. Personally I prefer the bbq sotong, which already in my tumtum by the time I take pic of this fried one. 😂 take the set with drink pretty worth it as their cup is big type. Can't wait to try all type of flavours. Bbq one got normal and spicy sauce option too!
