Tucked away from the bustling side of Bangsar, Grind22 is the perfect place to be for an relaxing afternoon. Give their signature Nona Latte or Baba Latte, a twist from the usual coffee. If you’re hungry, head to the back to WokIt for an affordable lunch. As the space is quite small, it can be packed during peak hours, but so far I’ve never had trouble getting a seat there.
Tucked away beside Twenty2 fashion boutique in Lorong Maarof lies a cozy, quiet cafe with naturalistic vibe. There's both an indoor and outdoor seating with ample of sunlight shining through.
Besides drinks, head to the back to order a customised meal with Wok It.
In frame: Grind 22 signature latte, Nona Latte (RM12) is a combination of espresso, milk and gula melaka. The flavour was caramel-like and had the right level of sweetness. I reckon the drink tastes better iced.
Good service and the barista was informative and friendly. One little downside was that there were lots of flies around.
This hazy day...just need something to ease my throat. 😷 Had this Iced Nona Latte at Grind 22 the other day. A latte coffee base with palm sugar (gula melaka) to top off the sweetness. Sweetness level just nice!
Love the way they set up... Hidden and yet close to nature within city. It's right beside a boutique. The mango cheesecake is heavenly made! And I love their ice Nona latte!
A basic latte sweetened with a layer of Gula Melaka (coconut sugar). Look at them layers!
The baristas said they're still improving on the Gula Melaka blend because some claims it being too sweet and the ratio doesn't match. But on my trip with @edricleee, it wasn't too sweet or overwhelming. You definitely can taste the amazing Gula Melaka fragrance. It was amazing especially for a hot day when we went.
Something unique. Something like your local kopitiam yin yang or teh si Peng. But different. 😅 Hopefully Grind22 will launch it soon! Good luck guys.

Thanks to a special ingredient (gula Melaka!), the common iced latte now has a local kick that certainly elevates it. Had the privilege to try out Grind 22's signature latte before they put it on the menu!! Espresso, milk and a layer of gula melaka on the bottom!! Surprisingly not that sweet and really refreshing!! The best thing to quench your thirst on a hot sunny day!!
