Tteokbokki fries

$3.50 ยท 7 Reviews

Mainly the combination of Korean Ramyeon and Tteokbokki, Jinjja Chicken also had their take on the Rabokki. At S$7.90, the bowl of noodles was pretty quickly served. I quite liked the thickness of the soup because, which was further thickened by the cheese that came with it. This could be an alternative to fried chicken, especially for those who needed a bit more carbohydrates to last through to the next meal.

During peak hours, it would be good to find a seat before placing orders. But what was most interesting for me was the two times of power tripping that happened during the visit, which I almost thought they were doing some birthday surprises.

Don't even bother ordering this. Just 3 pieces of teok and it's not that they are amazing.

Halal certified Korean fried chicken? Wings were nomnom but Soy Garlic > Yangnyeom (which packs quite a kick) .. Beef bulgogi kimbap was pretty tasty! (Though mine came with a strand of hair which hopefully is a one-off occurrence ๐Ÿ˜ณ๐Ÿค”) But sadly the Tteokbokki fries were just meh~ Overall not too bad still! ๐Ÿ˜‹
P.S. Heard the noodles there are not bad too!

How many times have you found a ์งฑ์žฅ๋ฉด [Jjajjangmyon / black bean sauce noodle] in a korean fast food menu? Me? Once! Tried it this afternoon, it was gooooddd.. flavourful without being too intense. Also, that chicken cutlet was a good decision! Upgraded my order to a set -- with fries and soft drink -- and then upgraded my fries to tteokbokki fries [+S$1.00] , and i almost added extra cheese to my tteokbokki fries ๐Ÿ˜‚. Thank God i wasn't that greedy. ๐Ÿ™ˆ๐Ÿ™ˆ

And oh, did I mention it's #halal certified? And located at the touristy Bugis area? So, to all my Moslem friends, if you ever visit Singapore... you've been informed! ๐Ÿ˜Š

For the korean food lovers out there who wants a mix of korean and fast food. Plus it's halal. My favourite was the bibimbap and tteokbokki fries. Bibimbap comes with no taugeh which was a plus point for me hehehe. Theres some rice cakes mixed in with the fries too. Seafood mandu is delish and the 6pc chicken (mix of soy and yangnyeom) is similar to four fingers. Price was affordable too. All of this plus two drinks $25.50.

Jajangmyeon is good but a lil "jelak" should have add cutlet chicken $1. I am addicted to the tteokbokki fries! Something different.
I have been waiting for this korean fastfood to go #halal moreover near to office. Will try the other food in the menu.
