Thai Milk Tea: $1.8
Everything was on point except that the rice was kinda wet, suitable for my ah ma. Normally I wont have milk tea with main course but since itβs only $1.8, I decided to give it a try. Turning out itβs not up to my liking, which is a little diluted. Besides, I have a feeling they follow healthy concept, seasoning is not as savoury as at other Thai restaurants.
Finally managed to try this place out after being in this area for more than a month β thought this was actually pretty above average; for one, I liked how this taste relatively "clean"; there wasn't really an overdose of MSG or copious amounts of fish sauce added just for more flavour. Instead, the basil does carry its flavour rather well here; the only thing it felt like it was falling slightly short of was the spiciness for how it seemed pretty potent but proved to be a little weak across the table. That being said, it's one of those places that fares slightly better than most which seem to serve uninspiring variants of the same item.

I'm easily sold to all things saucy and their Basil Pork Rice (with a sunny side up!!) is a true winner. Tasty and authentic, when I give it a good mix, it's just spoonfuls of moist spicy goodness.

Pad Thai / 5bucks
Neither is it too watery nor dry. A very forgetting dish.
Just one big plate of white rice. I will be a happy fat boy.
