The name of this pastry alone makes me feel like royalty in a bougie castle being served this danish and premium earl grey milk tea on a diamond-encrusted golden tray. Queen Elizabeth can move her Elizabussy to the side cuz the REAL queen has arrived 👑 This danish comes with custard filling and blueberry jam.
I was really surprised at how thicc and generous the amount of custard was (just look at that cross section wowee). The generosity of the custard does make this pastry a bit jelak but as my personal philosophy states, more is always better so I don't mind. The custard itself isn't overly sweet, but combining it with the buttery and flaky pastry does make it really indulgent.

Happy Valentine's Day in advance! Here's 'Tower of Love' cupcake from Delifrance. Chocolate cupcake with a molten centre with cream cheese in between the layers. Decorated with chocolate petals and a huge red heart!
Warmed it up and the chocolate filling was oozing out as I ate it. Crisp on the outside and bittersweet with a slight buttery tinge of saltiness on the inside, SO GOOD! The perfect way to start the day!

Tried all 4 of the new lava croissants from Delifrance (1 for $2.30, 3 for $6). The 4 flavours are P'Nut Lava (crunchy peanut butter as pictured here), Cookie Butter (Biscoff Cookie), Hazel O'tella and Salted Egg. These were really quite disappointing. We went 5mins before 6pm and waited for a freshly baked batch, and despite being freshly baked and warmed up before having them served to us, only the salted egg one flowed. Another puzzling thing which happend was that our peanut butter croissant and cookie butter croissant tasted the same! Same coloured filling with same crunchy bits. Did they make a blunder and added the wrong filling while baking?
Taste wise, the salted egg one had a strong yolky flavour with gritty texture and it was the most flowy one, nutella was just...nutella, and completely did not flow.
