From the rice portion to the spice level and the toppings, take your pick from the extensive range of options available on the menu to create your perfect bowl of curry rice. It was probably a bad choice to get their curry udon because it wasn't customisable (though it tastes decent), so stick to their curry rice.
As an intermediate to spicy food, I find level 3 pretty unbearable because the amount of spice in it just kick you really hard at the back of your throat and ripples the effect up to your nose. So if you want a comfortable plate of curry that's still spiced, go for the level 1 or the standard and add your desired amount of chilli powder given on the table. I would also recommend getting their katsu because that's probably the topping that's most value-for-money - huge, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.
Chicken katsu curry level 1, spicy enough for me 😅, but so 'shiok'.
Ordered seafood curry omelette rice and chose level 2 for the spiciness ($16.90). The egg omelette is fluffy and soft while the seafood curry really have the taste of seafood! It contained clams, 2 prawns and 2 pcs of squid. If you can't take spicy food, I'll recommend you to go with original or level 1.
Lunch the other day - Grilled pork and kimchi curry + a side of bacon, corn spinach 😋 Love how you can totally customise your meal, from the amount of rice, level of spiciness, to additional toppings 👍🏻
Probably one of the nicest places that serve really good Japanese curry. Love how you are able to customise the spiciness and portion. Priced at $12.
I love how the omelette is done! Smooth and wet on a just nice basis. Service is quick, probably faster than Monster curry. They have different level of spiciness too!
