Was sooo excited to try out the Nutella Puff Bombs by Chulop and it was definitely worth the anticipation! Topped with red velvet powder, I totally love how just like their churros, it has a crispy and crusty texture on the outside, but yet soft on the inside. The taste of the pastry itself tasted amazling delicious and baked to perfection. The amount of nutella was surreal and totally unexpected because I definitely did not expect the amount of nutella to be that much. It was very rich, creamy and I had a difficult time ensuring that I did not dirty the sides of my mouth as I bite into it. I think that it is sooo worth it considering the amount of nutella in the puff and the size of it is quite reasonable. Love it!

4 Pandan churros with toasted coconut dust and a tub of gula melaka dip. $5. Very aromatic when freshly serve up. Crunchy texture. Sweet snack indeed.
On top of Chulop's fiefdom of churros, they also have some baked goods available in their fridge displays. They include this, a concoction of Speculoos' cookie butter-infused cream cheese tart.
A really simple sweet treat was what this was. Being a sweet tooth myself, I find myself having a soft spot for Speculoos' cookie butter. Honestly, it would be a crime for me to not enjoy this.
Yet, it presented a few aspects whichโฆhad me side-eyeing a little. The cream cheese felt like a chunk, and the cookie crumbs were pretty dry. Still though, I'd incessantly, but intermittently, come back for more. It was alright I guess! (6.5/10)
Cookie Crunch Churros ($5.90)
Love at first bite ๐๐ผ was all I could think of. Super crunchy on the outside and chewy inside, this is one of the better churros place for sure!! 4 pieces of churros were topped lavishly with cookie butter, cookie crumbs and chopped almonds. Hell-ya this was worth all those calories! ๐๐Probably best enjoyed with fingers ๐๐ผso that you can scoop up all that rich and creamy cookie sauce ๐๐ผ!
Nestled deep within East Village is Chulop!, a food truck lookalike store that is always teeming with people waiting to get their hands on freshly made churros. There is no seating area, but Chulop! makes the trip count with consistently good, hot and fluffy churros dusted with cinnamon powder and sugar. There are only two options here โ Churros without Dip ($3) or Churros with Dip ($3.90). Get the latter and opt for the crowd favourite Mexican Chocolate dip! Wash it all down with the homemade Speculoos Milk ($5). Pro tip: Look out for their seasonal flavours announced on their Facebook โ we hear there's Pandan Churros with a Gula Melaka dip!
