Although the broth is not as authentic as i hope for, the steak slices and beef balls were succulent and flavorful.
Was decent but will probably order something else the next time.
Cost of this pho before gst: $28
Our table gave mixed reviews on this. Some love the large bobas that bursts in your mouth releasing mango or lychee syrup, while others did not like how coarse the "granitas" were. However we all agreed the sourness of the passion fruit was overbearing.
🔸
Of course, we also agreed that the price was steep for this dessert. But we know many people (myself included) are willing to pay $15 for bingsu, so similarly we'll be willing to pay the same for dessert, if it's good.

(And I craved for kachang granitas and chendol granitas after having this)
This is the dry type of fried rice, different from the those with luscious egg-coated plump grains. It still works, because it's easier to get wok hei which is evident in this mix of white, brown and red rice. Even then, we've to decide if this rice on a plate barely larger than a lady's hand is worth $22++.

The chocolate was intense and dark. But couldn't quite taste the chili. A good chocolate cake nonetheless
Crispy omelette - worth every bite. Shiok. Like tauhoo telur without the tofu!
A delicious beef dish cooked in a way that I've never tasted before. Who would have known that a Chinese restaurant popular with foreigners would serve up mouthwatering Chinese dishes like this!
